Over the Easter holidays, the team at Aureum Finance dove into a baking battle, whipping up a variety of sweet treats to raise funds and awareness for the wonderful MK SNAP (Milton Keynes Special Needs Advancement Project)
King Kieran Payne won the day with his amazing Banana and Chocolate Chip Muffins.
We also helped raise more money with a Sunday Raffle totalling £373.39.
The full winning recipe will be found on our website before this weekend.
Here is the secret recipe:
Recipe:
1 tsp Baking Powder
2 eggs
140g butter
140g caster sugar
140g self raising flour
100g chocolate chips
3 mashed bananas
Oven at 175 degrees for 20 minutes
1. Cream together the butter and sugar
2. Slowly add the whisked eggs whilst mixing
3. Add the flour and baking powder
4. Mash bananas with a fork and mix into mixture with chocolate chips
5. Cook at 170-180 for 20 minutes
